College Savings

Welcome to KIPP's College Savings Program enrollment portal. Please note that you are now visiting the website of my529, the College Savings Program partner who will help you set-up 529 accounts for your child/beneficiary.

To begin the enrollment process, please answer the questions below. After completing the questions, you can begin the new account process by continuing to the next screen. As with any financial institution, opening an account with my529 will require you to provide some personal information.

To set up a my529 account, you need to have the following information about
  • Yourself: U.S. Social Security or Taxpayer Identification number, date of birth, and address; (optional) bank account information and routing number for automated contributions
  • Your beneficiary: U.S. Social Security or Taxpayer Identification number, date of birth, and address
  • Successors (optional): U.S. Social Security or Taxpayer Identification number, and date of birth

We recommend that you have this information available before starting the process.

Opening your account with my529 will make it possible for KIPP's College Savings Program administrators to obtain your account activity information in order to reward students and families who make monthly deposits into their account, no matter how small or large the contribution. Please review the College Savings Program overview for details.

Congratulations on opening a 529 savings account and making saving for college a priority for your child and your family!
